Join Naturalist Hannah for a lively, hands-on adventure series where each month becomes its own little exploration! For two fun-filled hours, you’ll dive into a new section of Wild Ohio’s Wildlife Journal—with a fresh theme every time. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor activities like creative writing, sketching, short hikes, and up‑close nature demonstrations. The program is free, and your journal is included; just give the office a quick call at 419‑892‑2784 each month to save your spot. We’ll meet in the Visitors Center. Great for ages 8 and up, grown‑ups are absolutely welcome! Please dress for the weather. In Part 2 of this series we are going to investigate the magical ways that frogs, toads and bugs transform throughout their life cycle! We will also learn when and where we can find these cool creatures. Then we will talk about why bugs and worms are so important to our ecosystem and soils. After that we will go on a hike looking for our crawly and hoppy friends. We will take a break to journal and draw about what we found. Following parts in the series are: Butterflies & Pollinators; Birds! & Purple Martins with Gary; It’s a Wonderful World, Adaptations & Journaling in the Fall and Winter.
