Introducing The Song Exchange: An Open Mic for Songwriters It’s almost time for the January Song Exchange! We had a great turnout last month with a diverse bunch of talented artists, and can’t wait to see who shows up this month. How is this going to be different than the Open Mic we host at Phoenix Brewing Co? 1- Focus on Original Music. We are asking the performers to play at least one of their own songs. 2-Listening Environment. The Mothership is a Music Venue first, the expectation from the audience is that we are quiet and respectful while the artists are performing. We really want to foster a place where our attention is shared and everyone feels supported. – Tim
