Join us for the Earth Day Cleanup and Tree Giveaway at Charles Mill and Tappan parks! From 10 am to 1 pm, engage in environmental stewardship by picking up litter throughout the campground and lake—gloves and trash bags are available at Main Camp Shelter #4 and various locations. Return your collected trash to receive a coupon for a FREE night of daily camping, limited to one per household.
While you’re there, don’t miss the Tree Giveaway, featuring free red oak and white oak saplings on a first-come, first-served basis, along with planting information. Additionally, from 10 am to 1 pm, explore the Nature Center at Tappan, learn about Ohio trees, and discover upcoming programs.
To conclude the day, join us for an Adult BINGO session from 2-3 pm at the Activity Center—please bring a $2 gift to participate. This event, sponsored by the MWCD Conservation Department, promises a fun-filled day of community involvement and environmental care!
